HR Onboarding Specialist / Benelux Support [Portugal]


 

With dual responsibilities we are looking for a team player to process the onboarding of hires across the EMEA region. In addition, this person will also support HR services for the Benelux countries.

The Role

  • Responsibility for processing the onboarding of hires across the region, up to day 1.
    • Working in the Applicant tracking system and ensuring collection of data and creation of HR records
    • Drafting and delivering contractual agreements
    • Administering background checks where appropriate
    • Collection of candidate data and documentation
    • Managing correspondence with selected candidates
    • Ensure IT provisioning is completed prior to day 1
  • Responsibility for delivery of HR Services in Benelux, with a focus on the Netherlands
  • Delivery of workforce administration for assigned areas:
    • HR query handling for the employee lifecycle, time and absence, benefits and other services.
    • Complete and maintain data in all HR Systems (e.g. Oracle HR Cloud, ServiceNow);
    • Ensure relevant correspondence is issued throughout the employee lifecycle such as contractual agreements and changes to terms and conditions;
  • Support in delivery of monthly payroll:
    • Providing data and input of changes, liaise with payroll provider where required
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Regional Recruitment and HR delivery teams
  • Responsible for administering time off, benefits and/or retirement plans for the assigned offices
  • Assist in the tailoring of HR communications to local business and cultural needs Escalate issues or queries to HR Partners and/or COEs as needed

Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required

The Requirements

  • An experienced HR professional, with operational and administrative experience: offer/contract creation, benefit and flex benefit management, payroll support experience.
  • Must have a strong service mindset and the ability to adapt and adjust on short notice to fast changing environments
  • Demonstrated flexibility to work on multiple work streams, with a variety of different deadlines, outcomes and objectives
  • This position will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into several databases, strong attention to detail is a must
  • Business level Dutch and English both written and spoken, French language capabilities also an asset.
