Our client is a Financial Services Multinational Company.
Descrição
To revise, solve and verify daily accounting as well as any incidents in the client portfolio management systems and SAP accounting, solving accounting problems and accounting mismatches, thus guaranteeing the quality of the information provided;
To advice close collaborators and other internal collaborators on the guidelines to be followed in order to correctly apply current accounting and tax regulations;
To supervise the correct completion and submission of the companies' tax reports (Income Tax, VAT, and - Corporate) in order to guarantee full compliance with the company's tax obligations;
To oversee all tasks related to the company's economic and financial management: billing, collections, suppliers, payments, banks, etc.ensuring compliance with established payment terms and with all fiscal and legal aspects;
To guarantee the accuracy of the information systems used in the course of the department's different activities;
To analyze accounting and fiscal treatment of new products and processes generated within the company, agreeing any necessary changes with the departments involved so that the company's accounting properly reflects these changes;
To prepare all relevant information required for external and internal audits;
To establish the necessary filters and controls in order to guarantee the accuracy of financial statements and inventories;
To direct and supervise the professional development of close collaborators;
Prepare and deliver the monthly and quarterly reporting;
Act as backup to Head of Accounting for signing year end closing of accounts and tax statements.
Perfil ideal
Certified Accountant required;
Degree in Business, Economics or Accounting;
Familiarity with tax system;
5 years of experience in relevant banking/financial services sector;
Advanced office systems user;
SAP expert knowledge;
High English level.
