We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in our busy hostel located in the Amsterdam NOORD. You will join a great team of Clinkees in our hostel and be part of the wider ClinkeeFamilee located in different cities all over Europe. Role Snapshot
As Kitchen Assistant you will be a key support to our chefs, responsible for ensuring the chefs have the equipment they need to serve great food, managing the dishwashing area of the Kitchen and ensure that the surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy for our guests. You will also be involved in helping with food prep, cooking dishes and help come up with new menu ideas too!
You will be supporting the Kitchen Team Leader and some of your responsibilities will be:
- assisting with the food preparations, refilling the products during service and at the end
- support the chefs with cooking dishes that our guests love and contribute to menu creation when needed
- being a master of the dishwashing art, keeping the equipment and utensils to the best standard
- Responsible for keeping up the weekly deep-cleaning schedule
- Ensuring the guest areas around kitchen are clean at all times
